Disclaimer

Just in case you need to have it spelled out for you, I’d like you to be aware that though this weblog covers issues of professional interest to me, this is a personal weblog. The opinions expressed here represent my own and not those of my employer or of anybody I’ve worked for or with.   I have been thinking about finding a way to keep ideas and issues of professional interest to me alive in the face of the day-to-day realities of getting work done, and a blog seemed the logical repository.

Quest For Immortality: Treasures of Ancient Egypt, Museum of Science 2002. Still the most beautiful exhibition I’ve ever worked on, thanks largely to Deb Sovinee’s design. Sigh…

All the information here is provided on an as-is basis. I make no claims of accuracy or authority. About the only thing I’ll fess up to is my fallibility. If something here is wrong, it’s likely my fault and nobody else’s.  To make matters worse, I have been known to change my mind from time to time and don’t think this is a bad thing. Quite the contrary, in fact.  Like Ben Franklin, I think this necessary to maintain an open mind. This blog is intended to provide a semi-permanent (at best) incarnation of the thoughts and ideas banging around inside my head, on the day I posted them. Whether I still hold them today is another question. If you want to know, ask me.
